The Leica 35mm f1.4 Summilux-M is a wide angle, ultra-fast prime lens made by Leica. It is designed for use with M mount rangefinder cameras such as the Leica M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, and M7 as well as digital Leica M bodies. While later succeeded by the ASPH version, this lens is still considered an excellent lens with incredibly performance and image quality. The 35mm f1.4 Summilux employs a 7 element (in 5 groups) optical design with a 10-bladed aperture that stops down to f16. It has a minimum focusing distance of 3ft.
This is a special edition titanium version that Leica produced to complement the titanium Leica M6. It is a later version of the 35mm f1.4 Summilux that uses Series VII filters held by the accessory lens hood 12504.
